Strangers

Living in a city, we pass by countless strangers every day. Most are just another face in the crowd, but some we notice more and even interact with. When do strangers become acquaintances? When do acquaintances become friends? How are connections forged between two people who have nothing in common but the fact that they are in the same place at the same time? Meaningful connections with strangers are not as rare as one might think. Many of us remember strangers that we have only met once at a bar or a park. We can recount our experiences with them, what we conversed about, how we felt towards them. The transient nature of these connections might be exactly what gives them meaning and makes them impactful.
