About ‘Experiencing the City’

Experiencing the City website invites you to take part in a journey of exploring the city through observing, experiencing, imagining, and engaging with people, objects, places, and areas that may be new to you, or ones which carry much significance in your memory.

All the creative writing tasks and activities can be carried out in any city and at any time of the day. We hope that you will discover something new from the familiar, the ordinary, or the mundane, and reflect on aspects of urban life and the environment that may have easily gone unnoticed.
