In most large cities, it is difficult to walk the distance of a single block without coming across at least one storefront. Innumerable new products are being delivered and sold every day to these shops. Like waves, brand new products flow in and out of cities on fixed schedules. Where do these products go? Where are they stored? Do they stay in the city, or do they leave?
Writing Prompt 1
Choose any product you can see in a store and give it consciousness, though you do not need to animate it. How does it perceive the world around it? How does it perceive you? Does this depend on where it was made? What does it want, if anything?
Writing Prompt 2
Describe the object you most recently acquired. Is it consumable? How long do you intend to keep it? Is it for utility? Aesthetics? If it was not free, how much did you pay for it? Was it worth the price? What memories have you already made with it?
